MATH ACHIEVEMENT TO REALIZE INDIVIDUAL EXCELLENCE

The Somerdale School District, in conjunction with the other elementary school districts which comprise the Sterling Regional, were the recipients of a Mathematics Achievement to Realize Individual Excellence (Matrix) Grant award, funded through the Federal Education Department.  The grant supplements and enriches the regular education math programs at the middle school level in the Somerdale Park School.  Monies from the grant provide training and supplies (i.e. calculators and laptop computers) for selected grade levels and/or disciplines.  Consultants are provided through the Camden County Educational Technology Training Center (ETTC), who were instrumental in helping secure the grant.  For further grant information, please contact Dr. Debra L.
